CTS (Cincinnati Thermal Spray, Inc.), a leading global provider of industrial thermal spray coating technologies, today announced its acquisition of the Thermal Spray Division of EBTEC Corporation located in East Windsor, Connecticut. The acquisition supports CTS’ strategy to extend its footprint and provide regional service to its customers base in the northeast.

EBTEC Corporation has successfully qualified several coatings for multiple OEM’s in the aerospace industry, as well as other markets. With expanded capacity available, the new CTS facility is properly equipped to allow CTS to immediately service both new and existing customers.

The new Connecticut branch will become CTS’ fifth regional branch location in the United States. We welcome our new teammates to the CTS family, adding to a strong team of facilities established since 1978: CTS–Ohio, CTS–North Carolina, CTS–New Jersey, and CTS–Texas, in addition to our dedicated R&D Technology Center in Ohio.
